Pearl Schimmel

Aunt Pearl always welcomed us into her home with a smile whether we were there to crash on her living room floor between afternoon and evening Yom Kippur services (pretty hungry at that point) or to have all the family crowd around the Passover Sedar (pretty full at that point).

Wishing all of the Schimmel family peace to bring you comfort, courage to face the days ahead and loving memories to forever hold in your heart.

The Sox won the game and everyone went home happy!

On July 7, 2007 all the cousins and Pearl went to a White Sox game. Pearl’s favorite player was Paul Konerko. As luck would have it Paul hit a home run that day. We told Pearl that the homer was for her. After the game Barry went into the souvenir shop and bought Pearl a genuine Konerko jersey. Pearl was thrilled.
